YOUTH CAREER CAMP

Gain Skills for Future Careers

Join CIL Jacksonville for a FREE & FUN Career Camp! Youth will gain skills they need for their future careers. Participants can earn $100 VISA for completing one of our Spring 2021 Career Camp sessions.

DATES AND SCHEDULE

Session A: Deaf Empowerment Camp
March 8th-12th
9:00AM-12:30PM

Session B: Open to students with all disabilities
March 8th-12th
1:00PM-4:30PM

Session C: Open to students with all disabilities
March 15th-19th
9:00AM-12:30PM

Session D: Open to students with all disabilities
March 22nd-26th
9:00AM-12:30PM

ELIGIBILITY

  • Ages 14-21 Years Old
  • IEP or 504 Plan
  • Active Status with Division of Vocational Rehabilitation
    (VR)
  • Must be referred by VR
  • You must be referred by VR to attend this camp. Non-Active VR students will be connected to VR.
  • You can also call the VR closest to your school to request camp services.
  • Students must be on spring break to participate.

LOCATION: This is a virtual camp that takes place online.

Empowering our Next Generation

CIL Jacksonville empowers youth with disabilities through our mentoring program, independent living skills trainings and Youth Advisory Council.

CIL Jacksonville Youth Advisory Council is made of 13-17 members of our community with disabilities between the ages of 13-25. The Council's goals are to increase creativity, confidence and independence, build teamwork and cooperation, develop conflict resolution, time management and organization skills and build communication, public speaking and negotiation skills.
