MARGARITA MALDONADO
Margarita Maldonado is the Director of Programs & Services at the Independent Living Resource Center.
Margarita completed her Bachelors in Social Work in 2002 at the University of Campbellsville in Kentucky. Shortly after graduating she entered the field of Targeted Case Manager in the Mental Health Field for over four years. In 2006 Margarita returned to Jacksonville, from St. Louis and joined the ILRC team as a High School High Tech Coordinator for Clay and St. Johns Counties. Working with youth with disabilities bought her to a demographic group she had always wanted to work with and opened her world to cross-disabilities.
In 2009, Margarita was blessed with a baby brother who was diagnosed with Spina Bifida. The addition of Immanuel only provided her with more inspiration to work with individuals with disabilities and bridging the gap of services within Northeast Florida.

THE REASON WHY
I WORK AT THE ILRC
It brings me purpose and joy helping someone meet their goals and learn something new to help them in their daily lives.
