TINA WILLIAMS
Tina has worked in the Northeast Florida Community since graduating from Jacksonville University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology in 2000. Tina worked at The ILRC from 2008 – 2012, and returned to work in the Work Incentives Planning and Assistance Program. Tina’s experience also includes working with youth in the mental health and domestic violence prevention/intervention programs.
As a Community Work Incentives Coordinator, there is an opportunity to increase independence through educating SSI/SSDI beneficiaries about the specific rules that can be used to understand the changes to expect to their benefits while they return to work, and other programs that improve their financial stability.
Tina is a long time resident of Jacksonville and enjoys trying new cuisine and going on road trips. Tina has been a volunteer with the Riverside Arts Market and Hubbard House.
THE REASON WHY
I WORK AT THE ILRC
I value the opportunity to work alongside other dedicated staff to help members of the community become more independent by improving their financial stability.
